Congratulations, Mt. Spokane High School!
Fall 2010 Spirit Cup Winners
Students, teachers and fans of Mt. Spokane High School cast the most votes of any school in the region, making the Wildcats SWX Spirit Cup Champions! Dr. Trace Julsen, from Rockwood Clinic, awarded representatives of the school the traveling trophy Fri., Nov. 12 on KHQ Local News Today. The trophy will reside at MSHS until the next Spirit Cup contest in Spring 2011.
Who else came close?
In true, spirited fashion, no one really came close to Mt. Spokane this time around. Central Valley High School and Gonzaga Prepatory School made respectable showings however, with the Bears of Central Valley edging out the Bullpups of Gonzaga Prep by a couple of hundred votes.
When Is The Next SWX Spirit Cup?
SWX is pleased to make the SWX Spirit Cup a biannual tradition in the Inland Northwest. We've run the online voting contest twice, and there's no reason to stop now! Voting for another round of the SWX Spirit Cup will begin again towards the end of basketball season in Spring 2011. The exact dates will be announced as we get closer to the voting period.
Every school in the Spokane-North Idaho and surrounding region is eligible to participate. Next time, if you don't see your school on the list, let us know and we'll get it added just as soon as we can!
